How to use

Sixty seconds to bare mesh

01

Mix

Dilute 1:25 with water (1:10 for hardened stencils). One pail makes 130 gallons of working solution.

02

Apply

Brush onto both sides of the screen with an acid brush. Wait 30–60 seconds — never let it dry.

03

Blast

Rinse with high pressure. Stencil drops out; mesh and knuckles stay intact. Follow with SDSR for ghost haze.

Never let stencil remover dry on the screen.

Technical Q&A

CSR, answered

Written by the specialists who formulate it. Call 410-718-6618 with anything else.

No. CSR’s sodium-metaperiodate chemistry attacks the stencil’s cross-links, not the polyester thread. Used as directed — and rinsed before it dries — it is safe for daily reclaiming on any mesh count.

At the standard 1:25 dilution, a 5-gallon pail yields 130 gallons of working solution — roughly 1,250 standard 23×31 screens, depending on application method.

Yes — mix at 1:10 for hardened stencils, allow 60–90 seconds of dwell, and use high pressure. For locked-in haze, follow with SDSR degreaser stain remover.

When diluted and rinsed per the SDS, yes. Shops with high reclaim volume should use a filtration system to capture emulsion solids before the drain.
